Easter

It's been busy around here! Nathan's family joined us for Easter, and we had a lot of friends over for dinner. I've had lots of taste-testers!

Herb cloverleaves. Too much work, but tasted okay. You chilled the dough, rolled it into tiny balls, and put 3 balls in each cup of the muffin tin.
White butterhorn rolls. I've made this recipe before, but it's still a hit.
Easter nest bread. See the eggs in different colors and the "grass" around the edges? I made two of them. It tasted okay. Nathan didn't think it was sweet enough.

Easter nests (like rice krispies treats with chinese noodles), a Weinstock Easter tradition.
I was super comfy in the skirt my sister gave me for my last birthday.
We pulled out our old table...
...and put both leaves in our big table, for the first time.
One of our friends wore a great tie.
Everyone had fun! Well, at least the one on top did.

I practiced delegating (not my strong point) as we cleaned up.
I'd love to say all is now quiet on the western front, but it's not. The only difference is that we went from 18 people to 7 in the house. In addition to the aforementioned bread items, I also baked my standby whole wheat bread recipe on Saturday, scones today, and there will be more bread as the week goes on. More pictures to come!

I love your blog, it's fantastic. Looks like I will have to work my way back into Brian's heart. We will see if that happens or not though!!
