I have a reminder over my sink to make sure all my dishes are done every night.
I've been working on decluttering (again!) and I've found a way to cut back on all the paper clutter. I have always saved tickets and programs from every play, movie, etc. I've seen. They fade and I have an awful lot of them by now. I finally realized I don't need the actual ticket for the memory - I can take a picture! So now as I find piles of tickets, I take a picture and toss them.
It works for invitations too...
...and old cassette tapes! I used to love singles, because they were affordable and I could get the song I loved plus a couple more. I finally convinced myself to toss tons of tapes, because I already had the full album on CD or the computer, or I can find the song on the internet if I really want to hear it again.
That bottom one is one of my home-recorded mixes. Remember when you were a teenager and had tons of time to sit by your boombox with your hand poised on the record button, waiting for a song to come on the radio that you wanted to record? I had them labeled by mix # (they were indexed somewhere) and a rating code so I'd know if the entire tape was completely acceptable to play where a parent could hear, or if there was a song that might have slightly questionable lyrics. HA! Those "questionable" lyrics are nothing like what's out there now. I feel old.Anyway, those are some of my current projects.

Ha ha, it's fun to go back and look at and listen to those mix tapes. But then it's great to toss them too. Adam had a ton of them that I 'helped' him get rid of. Congrats on all the decluttering. I get such a feeling of accomplishment after a clean out day.
Thats awesome!! I need to declutter again :P It happens every few months in this house!! I love when the house is clutter free :)
I have actually taken a couple tapes to my mom's radio shack and they have put them on CD for me!! It is nice to put them on the computer and know I can have them "forever"!! :)
That's awesome!! Check you out with your rating system, such a rebel. ;)
