Here we go again, I got overwhelmed with trying to do a particular post and find the right photos and words and so I stopped blogging. Easy solution - skip it and move on!
Today's Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for an awful lot of things and I don't feel I can decide on the most important ones. On my whiteboard at work, I do survey questions occasionally. This week I put, "I am thankful for:" and my answer was cheese! There were a lot of other random answers but I kept getting mocked for my answer. It's true though, I am thankful for cheese, especially extra sharp cheddar cheese. In that random theme, here are some other things for which I am thankful.
Burt's Bees chapstick.
Cookie sheets.
Rainy days, especially when I'm not at work (today!).
Sleep. It has such healing powers, either for physical or emotional pain.
A good job.
My kitties.
Vinegar and baking soda.
Knowledge.
Clean drinking water.
Peace. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." John 14:27.
I'm excited for the holidays. My Christmas shopping is mostly completed. We'll be able to participate in the Weinstock "family" caroling party this year. My house is stocked with all the baking essentials. Nathan put new weatherstripping and a bottom-of-the-door-seal-thingie on our front door, so we'll be a bit warmer this winter. We're extremely blessed and have chosen a couple ways to bless others' lives this Christmas. We're learning a beautiful Christmas song in Primary, one I have never heard before.
To sum it all up perfectly, some lyrics from Mister Rogers....one of my favorite children's shows.
"It's such a good feeling to know you're alive.
It's such a happy feeling: You're growing inside.
And when you wake up ready to say,
'I think I'll make a snappy new day.'"
I'm grateful to be alive! Tackling each new day! Have a great day y'all.

Happy Thanksgiving Cherish!
Okay SERIOUSLY! Why has my bloglist not been updating properly. I did not know you'd been up to so much, but it was fun to have it all saved up and read it today. If I had any self discipline at all I'd just stay off my computer and actually have a pile of fun stuff to read at a time instead of being an obsessive blog/Facebook stalker!
is that MY whiteboard you are talking about? JK
Happy Thanksgiving. Since I was out yesterday, we are doing dinner tonight and watching movies today.
My thumb feels better now, the doctor popped it back in place right when she first touched it.
I am thankful for a friend like you.
