Strawberries!!!

It's been pretty warm lately and our front faucet is broken so I've had to occasionally water the strawberry patch by hand. Somehow it has thrived despite me!

Just a few minutes ago I was taking out the trash and saw a flash of red!!! I climbed over the fence to the garden and there were ripe berries! Now, I couldn't manage to pause long enough to grab the camera, but I did pause and savor the beauty of the moment... the first strawberry of the season. I found 6 ripe berries and ate them all after blowing off any dirt. :)
