Awesome day!

Yesterday was a pretty great day.

We went to Olive Garden a few weeks ago and I completed the customer satisfaction phone survey. Yesterday I got the mail and found a letter saying I had won their monthly survey sweepstakes. Included was a check for $50.00. Not even a gift card that I have to use there...a check!

The mail also held concert tickets we had purchased (yay!) and the hospital bill (boo!).

Facebook told me an infertile acquaintance was pregnant. I love when the list of women I pray for gets shorter because someone got pregnant!

Then I tackled plums...we picked a lot of them on Wednesday night. I had only helped my mom can plums as a kid and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy and tasty they were. I'll blog more about them later, but those 14 quarts of tasty goodness looked like success to me. :-)
