Pumpkin bread

First off, I promise that I worked very hard to keep any germs out of this bread. Yes, I have a cold. However, I washed my hands thoroughly before starting, as well as every time I was about to touch the dough or bread. I'm not coughing at all.

This is pumpkin bread. It's not the typical sweet, cake-like pumpkin bread. It's normal bread with pumpkin and a touch of spice. It was supposed to have raisins, but I don't normally have raisins in the house. I substituted about 3/4 whole wheat flour, as I'm almost out of nasty white flour. I also used oil instead of butter, since I'm getting a touch low on butter (only 3 lbs. left in the freezer).

It turned out okay. The crust was a bit dark. Nathan said you can't really taste the spices and he likes normal pumpkin bread better. I put honey and butter on his slice, hot from the oven, and he said that brought out the pumpkin flavor. He got a touch offended when I said I needed additional people to taste-test it, so you are limited to his opinion this time. However, I am in charge of supplying the sacrament bread for church this weekend, so the entire ward will taste it. ;)
