Just to say I posted!

My sister changed her blog so now it shows how recently each of her friends updated their blogs. I'm feeling the pressure to keep things updated!

So, here's what's up today, nothing exciting.

It's cold and rainy. We've had the craziest weather this spring. I had hoped to pull weeds this morning but it's just not pleasant out there.

I'm making soup for dinner, due to the weather. Beef broth from the freezer, a few chunks of beef, onion, tomatoes, corn, green beans, rice, and whatever seasonings I end up adding.

My neighbor (if it stops raining) is coming tonight to rototill my garden! What a sweetheart! I had just about given up on a garden this year because I haven't had time to turn over the soil by hand. I'm still going to keep things simple, but I do want to plant a few different things. I'll let you know what I end up planting.

I realized last night that with all the changes in bus schedules, I'm now gone from home 12 hours every weekday but Wednesday (my late night). I leave the house to catch the bus at 5:50 a.m. I walk in my front door at 5:45 p.m. It's just a little frustrating and makes the rest of life seem overwhelming. I am very grateful for public transportation and my discounted bus pass, which makes it possible for us to have only one car and save lots of $$ on gas and other car-related expenses. It isn't always convenient though.

Okay, time to go check on the soup, take a shower, and catch the bus (in the rain). Hope your day is going well!

I vote for telecommuting, work at home, anything except being gone 12 hours a day. When you rule the world, it won't be like this, will it!!
Oops! Count your blessings, name them one by one.

Better watch those tomatoes! They are recalling a lot of them! J/K

That does sound good though. Weather has been crazy here and life in general. Like annonymous said... Count your many blessings. How about I do that later.. Ahh, procrastination!
