Oh what a fun week

Sunday we went to our friends' house for dinner. They had roast and accompanying veggies, rolls, and acorn squash. Each person got half of the biggest acorn squash I've ever seen. Let's just say all I managed to eat was my squash and a piece of roast, and that was pushing it. At least I got a nice dose of vegetables!

Yesterday my cold increased in severity. I came home early and spent several hours watching a movie / reading while drinking fluids and having chills and body aches. I was drinking so much that I was going to the bathroom every 15 minutes and then... I fell asleep. When I woke up two hours later, I was in SOOOO much pain! Thankfully, after many hours of sleep, I felt better this morning.

Today we had an employee association luncheon. F. Michael Watson, secretary to the First Presidency, was our speaker. He spoke about all the prophets he has had the privilege of serving with, and it was a very touching talk. Our lunch included salmon with some sort of fruity sauce; it was very tasty!

Friday is Leap Day... sadly, I don't think I'm doing anything to celebrate. I have been dragging too much this week. Is anyone else celebrating?

No, we won't be going, of course.
